Wow... some good news to share about.. today is a special day for somebody, or rather for two person.. one more guy in ECH got girlfriend liao lor!!! And guess what, the girl is also from ECH de.. hmmm, that guy so zai sia, take initiative and ask the gal if they can be together and then she agreed.. a romance story indeed! for those of you who still dont know who are we talking about, go find out yourself! Wish them all the best!

nancy birthday from A02.. the gals from her class (laura, jasmine, pei shi) and ah chong and terrence decided to meet up at causeway point for a feast in sakae sushi to celebrate her birthday.. they ate quite a lot especially terrence and ah chong.. they ordered buffet one which cost 20 bucks, can take as many plates as they want but not the red plates. terrence and ah chong decided to starve themselves with as much sushi as possbile, hopefully can make up for the losses due to world cup betting.. so in total both of them ate about 60 plates of sushi until they almost vommitted.. well, the gals played a prank on ah chong.. they put soy sauce on one the underneath of one of the sushi and gave to ah chong.. he ate it and spit them out.. the expression on his face is so funny.. then because charges will be imposed on fodd wastage, they decided to learn from mr Brean, hide the food under the plates.. then the waitress, called sheila, collected the plates and found that some sushi were stuffed under the plates and laughed at them.. but well, her service was quite good throughout.. so at the end of the day, all 6 of them wrote her a complimentary card.. after that, the four gals went back first while ah chong and terrence went to arcade and played the lost world 2.. they imagined the creature to be something and shot them down.. not too bad.. a fun day filled with joy.. hehe

today's chocolate day.. think is to commemorate the willy wonka for charlie and the chocolate factory a year ago.. a lot of gals from different classes brought chocolates for exchange today... terrence and ah chong brought chocolates and exchanged with the gals from their class.. at the end of the day, everyone collected many varieties of chocolates..=)

today's gladys birthday from A02. after math lecture, all of them decided to go canteen four and eat.. terrence and ah chong go collect the cake from canteen one and walked back all the way to canteen four. sean, terrence and ah chong decided to sit together and hid the cake while the gals were sitting together at another side.. then they had their meal and jonathan and nesh joined them shortly.. jonathan came and had his lunch. after lunch, terrence lighted up the candle while gladys went somewhere else.. when she came back, terrence brought the cake over to her and the gals sang her a birthday song.. hmmm, then got free plates from the fish and chips store.. thanks a lot to them! terrence and sean offered them two cakes.. well, after that went to sam lesson and after sam lesson was accounts test. got only 20 mins to revise.. the lecturer always let the students dismiss late.. then the accounts test till about 7pm.. quite difficult.. dunnoe can pass anot.. haiz

today is ah chong's birthday!!! hmmm, let's review the process of celebrating his 18th birthday. Well, terrence, sean, nesh, jonathan and daryl did not know what to get for him. He almost got everything that he needs to have; his new racquet, his bag, his yonex shoes..well, they cracked their brains for days but to no avail. Then terrence and his A02 mates consisting of winnie, xu zhen, pei shi, gladys, nancy, jasmine, laura and yi xin decided to play a prank on him because they didn’t know what to get for him. They decided to get children’s clothes from glordano. They also wanted to get a cake for him.. well, terrence together with the ecH boys and the A02 gaLs had already planned well what to do today; after lecture the gals would rush off to collect the cake and lay them out nicely while the boys will try to stall for time. terrence came quite early to keep the cake in the fruit stall refrigerator.. today after accounts test, the gals went off first while the boys stalled for time by asking ms loke questions about the accounts test. Then since ah chong is the module rep, the lecturer wanted him to pass message of the next major accounts test to the class. But took too long le.. finally when they got to go off, they had to go to the loo first.. help, the candles are dying off. They decided to rush.. the guys then brought him down to canteen one.. they escorted him to where the gals were and they sang two birthday songs, one in English and one in Chinese. They he blew the candle and when only left with the big candle, he suddenly remembered that he had not made a wish. He decided to do so then blew the last candle off. winnie then gave him the present and when he opened up, he was shocked that it was children’s clothes. He took pictures with it. Wished him to have children soon.. actual fact was that they wanted him to change the children’s clothes to adult’s clothes.. hmmm, then terrence gave him the birthday card which was written by the A02 mates which was also contributed by sean, nesh, daryl and jonathan as well. Then came the photo taking session! Hmmm, he didn’t know how to cut the cake so jasmine had to do it for him.. everyone got a cake each and guessed the happiest person would be ah chong.. Happy 18th Birthday, ah chong!

Today is Jasmine Chua's birthday. What did the AO2 mates did? They have thought of giving her a surprise because she going to cineleisure Kbox with her bf. They decided to give her a surprise by suddenly appearing at the kbox and then celebrate her birthday together. ah chong and terrence finished their cd 2.1 lecture at 1pm. Then together with the gaLs from their class, they waved and bode her farewell in a 'sacarstic' manner. well, think she didn't find out anything yet. Then the rest of them (yi xin, pei shi, xu zhen, gladys, ah chong and terrence) met downstairs at block 52 and went together to cineleisure. winnie and laura went off earlier to buy the cakes first. nancy would meet us directly at cineleisure first. They took bus 151 for two stops and transferred over to 174. All of them had a long long bus journey and finally reached cineileisure!! ah chong and terrence went to wait for winnie and laura outside the cheers and they went More than Words to get a birthday card for jasmine. They went up to kbox at level 8, room 27 and met the rest of them. Everyone started writing something on the birthday card and also started tolight up the candle. they waited a long time for jasmine and her bf such that the candle is burning off, until it comes to a point that it was quite short that they had to blow off first. About 20 minutes later, jasmine and her bf arrived and yi xin lighted up the candles again. All of them sang happy birthday song and jasmine made a wish and blew the candle. After that kept selecting, singing songs and eat tidbits. think the highest record singer would be pei shi.. they stayed for about 4.5 hours and total bill was about 160 bucks.. still manageable anyway. Think that all ba and once again happy birthday jasmine!

Hmmm, today ah chong and terrence class ends early.. they have financial managment from 8 am to 10 am then 10 am to 12 pm for social community values.. the gals from their class actually asked ah chong and terrence to go kbox since few days back but today terrence actually couldnt go one coz he got something important going on.. but then after constant persuasion, he joined them for lunch and bla bla bla.. the few of us or in fact seven of us who went include winnie, pei shi, laura, yi xin, jasmine, ah chong and terrence.. we hopped on two cabs and took to wheelock place.. we had a good meal at sakae sushi then after going window shopping for a while. We then walked over to cineleisure.. actually wanted to go kbox one then at the end we took neoprints.. took a hard time to find a machine to accommodate all of us.. then we took and went off.. yupx, think that all for today..

After two weeks of school, we conclude the following about our lecturers
AW - Peggy Leong emphasized too much on writing..
MAYC - Agnes, the usual teaching style.. not much difference
CDEV21- Elizabeth has very rich experience about childcare
DLE - Lynn's lecture not too bad..
FM - Meaning of debit and credit entry, with accountant story
SCV - Our values? If you have 100K, what would you do?
FP - Geraldine too strict already
SAM - The boys always get splitted up, so sad..

Hmmm.. time really flies.. Two weeks of school finally passes. We enjoyed quite a lot during this semster although it is a bit more taxing. We have to teach at child care centre.. Then the time table dont really look good.. daryl time table got at least 3 hours of break every day.. ah chong and terrence could go home early on wednesday and thursday.. their lessons end at 1pm and 12pm respectively.. Also how come no more mass lecture? Haiz, squeezed 4 classes into one classroom.. not beneficial at all.. Cant see screen properly, then a lot of noise and squeezy sia..

Haiz, first day of school so sian sia and all of us dreaded our feet to school. We are officially promoted to year 2 le, becoming a senior of the freshies. What we can say for this semester is that the time table sucks. The five of us couldn't meet up as often compared to last semester because we now have different lectures. In fact, daryl would never have the chance to meet all of us for lessons and his time table has an average of three hours break everyday. Haiz.. so sianz sia. And so much assignments for the coming term. We are taking 8 modules this semester, of which 2 are examinable subjects that we have to study really very hard. Going to get to meet all the different lecturers soon and let's hope all of them are friendly. Wish all of us all the best this semester and let's travel this pace of life together!

[6 Apr. 06].Chalet
Initially wanted to have a three day two night chalet but terrence could not make it on friday because he had to go back to his secondary school for photo taking. The three of us, sean, terrence and ah chong met up at jurong east mrt because jonathan had to go to the singapore immigration registration building to get his passport. We travelled a long way to lavender mrt station and finally reached there. Then down there while waiting for his passport, jonathan was 'loved' by two kids. Two kids approached him and wanna give him something. Think they have some sort of chemistry. After collecting his passport, we proceeded to the nearest hawker centre to have a quick bite while waiting for jonathan's father to pick us up to coasta sand resorts beside escape theme park. Finally reached costa sand resorts and checked in. The room was quite big for the five of us, even had x-box! Jonathan gave the wrong info and daryl met up at another coastal sands then he has to walk all the way back. Then after, meeting up with one another again, we put all our stuffs in the chalet and the terrence there go and brew chinese tea. He brought a box of chinese tea and we have to torture ourselve with that drink for the whole day. After resting for a while, we went over to arcade to play a few games then went over to the lan shop and played an hour of lan game. After the lan game, we went near the sea there and played soccer. Then jonathan was a bit sick, guess he never eats his breakfast. He was given the tea that terrence brewed back to the chalet and he recovered a bit! the tea was effective, yea.. Terrence went to take a shower while the rest played x-box. We headed off for dinner at 7pm and all of us brought different foods from different stores. We gorged ourselves with the food until we felt like vomitting. There is simply too much to eat! We even ordered two big pack of potato wedge from KFC and brought to the food court. After dinner, we headed back to the chalet and watched our long awaited programme which is the 9pm channel 8 drama serial which is still trying to locate a missing person called Carol. After programme, we continued on our x-box and played some cards games and sean, terrence and ah chong went to sleep.

[7 Apr. 06].
We woke up quite early, about 5am liddat. Then ah chong and sean decided to take a shower. Terrence also said that since we booked the chalet, we should made full use of the facilities there and he took another bath. Jonathan and daryl continued on their x-box for the whole night. We began packing our stuffs and checking out of the place at about 7am. We went to have breakfast at mac and after that terrence had to go off first because he still had something on in his secondary school while the rest of us had to wait a particular shop to open in order to return the x-box disc that we rented from them. It was a long wait sia. Then darly called a taix and reached home about 15 minutes later while the other three are still wating for bus at downtown east. They took mrt all the way home.

[5 Apr. 06].
We are off to sentosa for a day of fun. The three of us, terrence, ah chong and daryl met up at harbour front mrt. An early day in the morning which all of us are tired. We all met up and went over to shop and save to get some food items such as potato chips and bought quite a few packets on that. Then after met up with jonathan and sean and all of us went to the hawker centre to eat under the hot sun! We took a feeder bus from the interchange to the visitor centre in sentosa and changed bus to go to siloso beach. We played soccer with a small pathetic ball that ah chong brought and frisbee. Then we had picnic under a shelter and consumed our potato chips. In our desperate need for games, we decided to get a volleyball from a shop nearby and played volleyball with it. It was painful hitting the ball with our hands. Then ah chong saw something x-rated when an angmoh took off her bikini facing the sea. puke! Wonder why they are so open in their society. After playing enough, we headed to 7 eleven and bought big gulp and then went over to cable care centre there to have burger king. After dinner, we decided to go over to the merlion tower but it suddenly poured so heavily. Haiz, we decided to run for our lives and jonathan still can run to find a shelter. We grabbed out our umbrella and trying to find a shelter and waited for the bus at one of the bus stops. We headed back to the visitor center and took a feeder service back to harbourfront. From there, terrence took 963 home and daryl, sean , jonathan and loon took mrt home.

[3 Apr. 06].
Sean, daryl and terrence decided to meet up together at bugis for dinner before going for jonathan's grandmother wake. From bugis mrt, we walked all the way to lavender mrt station and tried very hard to find singapore casket but couldn't find the place and the people out there gave us the wrong directions. We bashed here and there for so long and walked from one street from another and still couldn't find the place. We continued walking and sean exclaimed in happiness when he saw the sign of the singapore casket! But when we got there, we were unsure of which level the body was resting at. We asked the caregiver and they provided no details of it. We called jonathan and then proceeded to the fifth level and if we are not wrong, the name of the room is Regency room. The four of us gace 10 bucks each and the service started at about 8pm. We sang some of the sad songs such as Amazing Grace during the service and some of the old memories that some the family members shared. We were deepened with sadness at the desmise of his grandmother. After service, we had some light supper servings and discussed our plans for the chalet. Then we met up with jonathan's auntie who is a childacre teacher and exchanged conversations with her. After everything which is about 10.30pm, we walked back to lavender mrt station. Daryl had a direct bus home and sean and terrence took mrt back. Terrence alighted at bugis too take a direct bus home.

[22 Mar. 06].
Sean and terrence met up at the Choa Chu Kang MRT station to travel together to CHIC St Convenant at Toa Payoh there to attend a seminar for the special needs for children in singapore. Ah chong couldn't come because his chicken pox has not recovered yet. Jonathan called Sean shortly that his father is picking us up outside the station. We board his father's car at about 8.30 am then headed over to Toa Payoh there. Then daryl dunnoe where the location so he waited at Toa payoh central for Jonathan's father. At Toa Payoh, he nearly lost his way when some ah peks led him in wrong directions. Well he managed to meet Jonathan's father somewhere in Toa Payoh and travelled to the school. We were early and tried to establish contacts here and there. We took our name tags and put it on and proceeded to the seminar room. Then the guest of honour, Dr Amy Khor arrived to give her opening speech and we are off to break for refreshment or breakfast. Then attended two more talks after that. Feel like falling asleep. After that we are off to break for lunch again. We took a quick bite before we seperated ourself to attend the different seminars. Daryl and terrence attended one of the statistical report together while sean and jonathan attended the classroom management thing and then we grouped back in the seminar room after that for speech seminar. It's so boring until all of us almost want to sleep. After that is the closing ceremony. Well, Jonathan's father went off first and we attended a last seminar. That was a great one which depicts how we should teach special needs children here and there. The tutor was great and we had a great time with her! After that, we departed the school and began walking to an mrt station. And suddenly it poured heavily! Sean and daryl headed back by mrt and bus respectively while terrence and jonathan went over to somerset for a bite before jonathan had to go off for a meeting and terrence heading home after that! A great day of knowledge and fun!

Destination: Bukit Timah Nature Reserve

Once more, we found ourselves heading back to our 'favourite' haunt; Bukit Timah Hill.. Why always Bukit Timah hill u may ask. Well, I'm not too sure either.. Can only guess. Perhaps it's due to our first memorable experience scalin tis little hill? Anyways, we met at arnd 1020, all geared up and ready to start climbin e hill.. But a distraction appeared. In e form of a mother monkey sucklin her young one.. Such a sight. Really depicts Motherly Love.. CanT help but stop to take pics. of them man. Spent arnd 15mins. dere? Until e mother gt so fed-up wif havin a camera pointed at her and her young one dat she barred her teeth and charged at me.. Whew. Scary experience man.. For half a moment, i tot i was in for it. Luckily she decided to stop.. Hence, was able to escape wif nth more den a thumpin heart. Set off for our favourite place dere; Hindhede quarry.. On e way, our usual pit-stop, e swing and all. When we reach e quarry, took a couaple of pics. of it and lingered dere for arnd 45mins.. Geez! How time flies when u're havin fun.. Gt to really rush up Bukit Timah Hill as we had little time left. Terrence gt to leave by 1400.. But alas, we didnT even get to start climbin Bukit Timah Hill. Why? E answer is once again link to Man's cousins.. We saw a whole troop of Long Tailed Macaques. Terrence wanted to take a pic. wif one of e monkeys so we stopped for awhile.. Or so we tot. Well, dat took such a long time to get a decent shot.. Coz firstly, the shadows of e trees enshrouded e monkeys. Dat means a slow shutter speed.. Resultin in more shakes. Secondly, e monkeys were so temperamental.. Nv know wat they mite do. Who knows b4 e shutter is press e monkey mite haf already charged at Terrence.. Lastly, monkeys bein animals are often rather shy when ppl get too close to them. So they always shun Terrence.. Makin e task much tougher. Neways, after much effort, we gt e shots.. Den we went to observe e monkeys. A whole family of them.. Wonderful experience. Can really see e love and e close bonds e monkeys shared.. So after awhile, we left e monkeys alone and headed for Al-Ameen for lunch. Boy, they sure were hungry.. Ordered a set meal costin 35bucks. Whew.. Comprisin of soup, meat, veggie, egg and stingray. And they finished e whole thin man.. *applause. Well, didnT had much appetite.. Juz had smth light but even dat was nt finished.
Wif a stomach full and a memory card dat stored e precious moments we had, we went our seperate ways..

[3 Mar. '06]. At last.. The exams are over. Still canT believe e fact dat we're completely free for almost 2 mths.. Well, it nids time to suddenly adjust to e newfound freedom. Ha.. Guess wat eh? After e last paper, we all had a mini conference.. E goal of dat objective, to plan out e holiday schedule. Seems cool man.. Now juz waitin for Sean to type it out and send each of us a copy. However, e first outin wun come dat soon.. Muz wait till e third wk of March before we can begin e adventures. Y? Coz e poor Loon is down wif chicken pox.. Sad rite? Well, hope he gets well soon..
To tink dat it's almost a yr since we first met each other. Time really flies.. All e fun we had together.. All e thrills and weird thins we did.. All e places we went. They were totally memorable.. Neways, those were e past. It's time to look forward to e next adventures and obstacles dat come our way.. Let us be dere to help each other survive in tis female-dominated field and in other aspects of life. This, i'm sure, we'll be able to do.. =)

Second consecutive days of Philip Koh's mass lecture. Some of us even had long tutorials with him. So tired sia. Wonder why he must leave for for overseas during term time. But nevermind, guess he must have his reasons ba. Today lesson talked about creativity and made us do some practical lesson by drawing something on the paper to show how creative we are. Well, I guess we have always liked his lesson because he has creative ways of teaching too! One of the few male lectures teaching early childhood. Well, after lecture, some of us went seperate ways. Terrence brought zanel to see a doctor and then accompanied her to work. so nice of him right? Ah chong, sean and daryl stayed behind and have lunch before going off.

Yay! Next two weeks holiday le! But holiday doesn't seems to be like holiday like that. We almost have to come back everyday during the first week of holiday for make up lessons. Especially Philip Koh's lesson. He went overseas during term time and had to make up so many of his lost lectures and tutorial. Abit sian. Anyway, today's firday so let's not spoil the mood. Well we had a test given by Agnes Dieu. It's quite a simple test but if you should not have studied them, you would not know how to attempt a single question at all. It everything about the brain! Oh yea, just now terrence told daryl to tell zanel that he has something fer her and bla bla bla. Then after her lesson, she went down canteen 2 and met terrence there. Then terrence passed her a quite huge present la, then claiming it to be an x'mas present. Then he immediately went off for his project work. Haha, good move! Anyway, happy merry christmas to everyone in advance!

Today in school got Belinda's MYC lecture and also finally terrence is back to school after so many days of absence. Belinda is a little late and when she came she discusses a bit on our first assignment and then gave us some time to do. Then she kept emphasizing that the assignment must be in a certain format then can get an 'A' grade. We stayed back after lecture for a while and asked her questions about the assignment and then rattled our mind to come out with 2000 words for that essay. After dismissed, ah chong and sean went off by the backgate. johnny, daryl and huimin went to the main gate and terrence went off with his bb friend in a car.

Today is terrence's birthday. Finally! He is the youngest here of all the guys in ech! Congrats to him. As usual, we went into the lecture theatre. Usually we don't like our wednesdays as the first lecture would be PPCM by Corina and we don't really like her lesson although the subject is interesting! Well, the few of us decided to do something evil to terrence. Right after her lesson, all of us sang him a birthday song in the lecture theatre. He was trying to run away and was blushing away, but we stopped him and handed him the birthday present that we got for him. Then Corina was congratulating him as well. After tbat, we went over to the bird shit canteen and have our lunch. Ah chong treat all of us to spring chiken and we had an enjoyable meal. We then went to Corina's lecture and Philip's lecture respectively. What a good day!

Haiz.. It's a black monday again. It's is the same feeling that everyone would have during the start of the new week. All of us would have to wake up early in the morning and attend the 8am lecture which is Language Arts in Early Childhood Years (LAECY). A 1 hour break after her lecture followed by Child Development 1.3 by Agnes Dieu then it would be tutorial for some of us. It a long day for some of us on monday. We had our lunch after LAECY then Johnny had to go off. He would be performing at the Boys Brigade Sharity Gift Box opening Ceremony at Toa Payoh Hub. Heard that he would be meeting Mr SR Nathan, good for him. Think we need to in one way or another support the BB movements. Ah chong, terrence and sean went for CD 1.3 tutorial after a 1 hour break. Oh yea, somebody birthday in two days time worz but he's gonna spend that birthday at a BB camp. That all for now, shall update you further!

Destination: Escape Theme Park

A day full of events ahead.. Dat was of accordance to wat we had planned. E sky gave nt e slightest clue of wat was yet to cum.. Yes, dere were clouds in e sky but e sun was out. However, true was e sayin 'as unpredictable as e weather'.. At 1045, dark clouds suddenly threatened to unleash their contents and by 1050, it was pourin heavily. It was too late to cancel as we had arranged to meet at 1100 and we either had reached already or almost reachin.. So at 1100, Loon, Terrence, Sean and Daryl met at Pasir Ris MRT station. Jonathan would be meetin us at 1230 as he had to go to church wif his family first.. We decided to go to a food court in White Sands to eat whilst waitin for e rain to stop. We sat at at a table where we could see e progress of e rain.. Den as fast as it had started, it subsided and stopped. Wif our hopes high, Loon and Daryl quickly went to buy food.. Alas! When they returned, e rain was as heavy as it was when it was at its 'peak'.. Nevertheless, a faint ray of hope still hung in us and we waited. We were finally rewarded at 1200 when e rain subsided to a light drizzle.. We were overjoyed. Our plans could still work.. We went to take SBS 354 to Downtown East. But as we were about to board e bus, thins took yet another turn.. Boy, it seemed like Heaven was playin wif us. Yahz, it started to rain again.. However, when we reached Escape Theme Park, it was again just drizzlin. We debated whether to go in or not as e sky still looked threatenin.. Besides, alot of rides were closed for cleanin. As we were ponderin, e sky helped us out of tis dilemna. It started to pour again! Hence, we went to Downtown East to play arcade.. Jonathan met us dere. After a glorious half an hour, we left e arcade hopin dat e rain has stopped.. Hopes of goin to Escape were long dashed. We still had Plan B (cycling) to put into action though. Well, we could simply do almost anythin at Pasir Ris Park as long as e rain stopped.. But once again, we were disappointed. Decided to play pool.. But e rates were a killer. 9 bucks per hr! So we played table soccer for awhile instead.. Den we went to BK for lunch. Jonathan entertained us unknowingly by 'torturin' e person takin e order, Kenneth. Jonathan keep orderin this thing and that thing for us.. U shld haf seen Kenneth's face. When we left e counter, he greeted us wif an air dat he was glad to see e back of Jonathan.. Loon, Terrence, Sean and Daryl were roarin wif laughter. Poor Kenneth! Neway, after lunch, e rain showed no sign of stoppin so we went to play Xbox games.. Booked a movie room so we would nt be disturbed. We were wrong.. People often push open e door and look in. It was damn irritatin! We played 4 different games over a period of abt. 4hrs.. Occassionally we went out to check on e weather but to no avail. It was rainin, rainin and rainin.. So needless to say, when we left Downtown East at abt. 1800, it was still rainin. Had dinner at e same food court in White Sands.. All of us were rather tired after such a long day and were rather quiet as we ate. Jonathan decided to take thins in his own hands and 'wake' us up frm our lethargy.. Under e pretence of excusin himself to buy drinks, he left e table. Indeed he bought drinks.. But he bought 6 cans of Yeos chrysanthemum tea frm NTUC! We had a real laugh over it.. =) And at last, we embarked on e journey home.. Tired but glad.
Our plans did not go as planned.. However, plans are nt wat runs an outin. U can haf an outin without plans and still work.. But nt one without ur frens. Wat matters most were dat we enjoyed ourselves and bonded closer together as friends.. And dat we did. Despite e gloom dat e weather brought, we were undaunted by it and still found joy and laughter in e company of our friends.. Tis took our friendship up yet another phase in e long road to true friendship.

Outing 16/17 Sep. '05
Destination: Sean's House

Agreed to meet 2215. Then due to some unforseen delays, loon, sean and nesh met about 2300 and travelled to Sean's house through service 852. Then terrence was the latest because he got something on. He reached about 0100 (17 Sep). So poor thing, no bus and have to walk all the way from bukit batok mrt station. Anyway, we slacked at Sean house for sometime before all of us decided to head (walk) to al ameen at 0200 for supper Then there was slight drizzle and all of us ran to avoid the big rain. sean ate a large bowl of something goreng and was bloated with some drinks as well. After supper was about 0300 when we decided to head down to pool factor. But it was closed. And we walked back to sean's house. At sean's house, we crapped a lot and then finally went into lala land at 0500 and woke up at 0900. After that, then made our individual journey home.

Outing 14 Sep. '05
Destination: Bukit Timah Nature Reserve

Met at e mac. at KAP.. Had lunch and den set off for the nature reserve. Took a cab.. Taxi driver was nice. Allowed five of us in as it was a short journey. Wanted to take a pic. on a stone near e visitor centre but camera screwed up.. So we gaf up. Took one instead wif e tiger.. Decided to go on a detour first; to a granite quarry nearby first. On e way, dere was a 'playground'.. Naturallly we went to play and haf fun. =) We wandered on until we found a dirt bike track and found e quarry! Spent quite alot of time dere takin pics.. Group shots, individual shots for everyone and e scenery. We even had a short video-takin session, starrin sean, terrence and jonathan.. It was so hilarious! LOLZ.. Well, gettin back, we set off for our real quest; to conquer Bukit Timah hill. Mind u, not by e easy path but via e off-track way.. Sean and terrence set off as scouts first whilst jonathan, loon and daryl travelled at a slower pace (mainly to take photos of e tracks and e greenery). Used walkie talkies to contact each group.. Main highlight; saw three caves along e way. Jonathan, loon and daryl took a pic. dere together.. ;) Nth much but pics. and more pics. for e slower grp..Well, to make thins short, sean and terrence managed to find their way to e submit. However, jonathan, loon and daryl got lost.. Followin an old man, jonathan and loon walked straight instead of climbin a flight of stairs at a crossroad. Daryl was behind takin pics. as well but was informed by jonathan to take e same path as he and loon took. After a very long period and havin to squeeze wif huge crowds of sch children, they realized they were lost.. Jonathan and loon waited for daryl to find 'em before headin back. Poor jonathan.. Under e effect of medication, he struggled but was determined to scale e hill. After much sweats and rest periods, they reached the top of e hill together.. Took a short break dere. And took a group shot at e rock bearin e words 'Bukit Timah Summit' as a prove we've done it.. We're proud conquerors of Bukit Timah hill! Climbin down e hill was a breeze compared to goin up.. We den left e place, where we nt only had fun but also where we bonded closer as friends. However, the day's surprises ainT over yet.. We saw monkeys further up. So cute they were, esp. a small one wif a funny 'hairstyle'.. Took some pics. of 'em before leavin. Had pratas and milo and bandung 'dinosaur'.. Then jonathan left and the remainin three went to play pool at 'pool factor' until almost 2000. And dat marks e end of a great day.. =)
